Unfaithful

Small quivery black lies,
slowly snaking across
the white surface.
Blending, slowly
dipping below the surface
merging gently, seamlessly
distorting nothing
No suspicions
till the void of grey,
Pulses in your veins.
Shadows snaking across
The walls
As the light
slowly ebbs away
The poison
The insidious stealth of it
Comprehension suspended
Till the final slam
Of the door
Signals he has left

Very Smooth, like a slick needle dagger slipped between one's ribs from the back.
